(PO)MEDIC is a mobile healthcare service that improves accessibility and equality by providing free essential medications to vulnerable populations struggling with costs, along with medication management support. The app offers practical services for users who need regular medication: online prescription syncing, pharmacy locator, easy ordering and delivery, medication reminders, and health diaries.
This project builds on CLEANMEDS, a free medication program we previously worked on. The pilot program brought positive results for both patients and communities, but we noticed users consistently faced accessibility issues. To reach more people in diverse circumstances, we developed a mobile app. True to its name as a "pharmacy in your pocket," (PO)MEDIC integrates naturally into patients’ daily routines, making healthcare more accessible to everyone.
We developed the app through four stages. First, we researched the market through user interviews and competitor analysis. Then we defined core problems and mapped out the information architecture. Next, we designed wireframes and refreshed the brand identity. Finally, we built prototypes and refined them through usability testing.
